SCERT Telangana English Textbook 4th Class:
The class 4 English language textbook is named “My English World”. The textbook is designed to implement all the Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing LSRW) skills among students. Before the main lessons, a Bridging gap activity is introduced to grab the attention of the students. All the tough word meanings are provided as a glossary at the end of the lesson. Grammar, comprehension, and writing part exercises are observed after each reading. This helps students to learn the basics of the lesson. Lesson reading, practice exercises, and project work help the children to come out with different ideas and talents.
SCERT Telangana Mathematics Textbook 4th Class:
Mathematics subject is introduced in academics to improve Problem-solving, Data analysis, and logical thinking in students. The 4th class syllabus is designed to bring the learning outcomes of reading, writing, and comparing numbers more than 1000 using place values, solving problems using fundamental operations, identifying a part in a group of objects in a given picture, identifying and preparing corners, edges and shapes in 3D objects, identify 2D shapes (square, triangle, rectangle, circle) sides & corners, estimating length/ distance in centimetre/meter, weight in grams/ kilograms, capacity in meters/millilitres, finding time in minute/seconds in a clock, identifying date in a calendar and writing it in the correct format, calculating the perimeter of geometrical figures formed by line segments, extending and creating patterns in numbers and simple shapes, representing data in pictorial and tabular form and drawing conclusions.
Environmental Science is a study based on activity. Each lesson in the class is taught and a related exercise should be given to the students for practice. This way of teaching makes the students understand the topic and can learn more related to the subject. As this subject deals with both science and social studies, can be related to real-life with past and upcoming experiences.
